TUCSON, AZ

Finally got to see a desert sunset!

I was finally able to peel Deb away from her work long enough to hike Sendero Esperanza Trail with me in Saguaro National Park West.

After a little mapping snafu that tried to take us down a closed road, we found the trailhead and did a quick 4.4 mile hike with an 875 ft elevation gain.

The views from our vantage point were spectacular, but even better than that was that the sun started to set on our way back and we had some incredible views of a desert sunset.

This next two pics put the "gold" in the "golden hour."

Happy Friday, y'all!
