Horseshoe Bend

PAGE, AZ

This little U-turn of the Colorado River that you always see on Instagram (and now will be on mine) is just 5 miles south of Page. It has a big parking lot that is full of cars every time I drive by. The viewpoint is just half a mile from the parking lot so you don't even have to "work" for the view. I was convinced it was going to be overrated.

I was wrong. It's even more incredible in person.

To give you a perspective of just how big this is and how high up I am, check out how tiny that boat is in the bottom left corner There are also two tiny kayaks pulled up on the shore at the bottom of the butte. Not sure you can spot them in this pic without knowing where to look, but they're there.

And the obligatory pose below:

Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area - takes no time at all, and it is truly stunning.

Never miss a new post.

As in, you might get an email every week or two. No spam for you.
